LALVIN ICV GRE™ is suited to early released wines where upfront fruit expression and good mouthfeel are desired.- White wines can have melon, apricot, citrus, and tropical fruit aromas with a rich mouthfeel
- Red wines display berry, spicy and floral aromas
- Reduced vegetal and undesirable sulfur off-odors
- Rapid onset of fermentation, low SO2, volatile acidity, and foam production
- Saccharomyces cerevisiae cerevisiae strain
- Selected by the Institut Coopératif du Vin (ICV) in 1992 from the Cornas area of the Rhône Valley, France
