As Scott Labs’ Onsite Customer Service Representative for our Healdsburg Office, you will be responsible for representing and supporting the Scott Labs portfolio of Fermentation, Enology, and Filtration products to the winemaking and specialty beverage community. Our world-class portfolio, deep product and process knowledge, and customer-centric service has made us the most trusted supplier in the industry. You will leverage your own industry knowledge and technical expertise, along with our 85+ years of experience, to provide the best customer experience possible.

Responsibilities:

Onsite & Operations
  • Greet and assist customers in all inquiries related to the Healdsburg office
  • Enter, print, credit approval and fulfill local orders (fermentation, filtration, cork, packaging and brewing plus any other specialty beverage product we may carry in the future)
  • Monitor and receive transfers of inventory
  • Record inventory including any adjustments (expired or damaged product) in a timely fashion
  • Ship inventory as required
  • Assist and resolve customer service-related cases at Scott Labs with a culture of support for both internal and external requests (Responsive, Timely, Appropriate, Professional, Accurate and Respectful)
  • Assist walk-in and will call client clients with placing/picking up orders
Operations & Customer Service
  • Support enology, filtration, & brewing customer service
  • Manage our cases through our CRM platformoEnter, edit, and process orders or other transactions as required through the company ERP
  • Maintain accurate account and contact information
  • Effectively prioritize activities to meet or exceed company and department initiatives
  • Provide clear customer feedback to the companyoWork well with internal stakeholders to help drive customer success and contribute to a positive work environment and company culture

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Experience with Customer service
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Available to work 8+ hours/day when needed

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 1-4 years' experience in a winemaking environment
  • Experience with sales &/or Customer Service
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce CRM
  • Experience with Microsoft Navision

Technical Guidance & Support
  • Continuously grow product and market knowledge with a focus on how to benefit both the customer and the company; participate in educational opportunities
  • Provide exceptional customer service and communication to support and grow existing customer base
  • Provide customers with technical support on the portfolio via phone and email
  • Troubleshoot customer fermentation & filtration-related issues and guide customers toward recommended best practices for resolution
  • Provide fermentation, enology, and beverage stability technical support and communication as needed (company-wide)
  • Participate in and contribute to technical communication as needed including articles, handbook content, web content, seminars, speaking engagements, and digital outreach
  • Develop accounts by checking customer’s buying history, suggesting related and new items, and explaining technical features
